Kaipa tässä on hyvä aika kokea Nolan-hetki, joten The Prestige uusiksi. Lähinnä nyt tahtoo jotakin taikatouhua ja kikkailua nähdä, eikä näitä tähän sarjaan tipahtavia teoksia ole kovinkaan montaa hyllyssä valitettavasti.

Minullakin kävi mielessä sama reissu, kun huomasin ohjelmistossa, mutta ei sittenkään oikein ollut otollinen olo. Ehkä keskiviikkona tai torstaina iltanäytökseen...
Sen sijaan Mutiny on the Bounty vuoden 1962 järkäleversiona iltaviihteeksi. Wanhojen Aikojen seikkailumenoa, purjelaivan arkisempaakin askaretta, kaukaisia saaria ja toki sitä käsistä karkaavaa periaatevääntöä plus Brando tietysti. Aitoa grogia ei tähän hätään reissuevääksi löydy, mutta eihän laineille sentään kuivin suin ja vesiselvänä pidä lähteä.

Toiveikkaana katselin paikallisen leffateatterin ohjelmiston josko olisi ollut Escape from NY, koska niitä Argentojakin tänne on tuotu. Eipä ollut ei. Kovin suruisaa! Joskus vuosikausia sitten olisi myös ollut näytillä Escape kankaalta, mutta jätinpä menemättä. Kyllä osaa ihminen typerä olla. Toivottavasti kaikki kynnelle kykenevät menevät sen nyt katsomaan ja nauttivat oikein kunnolla.

No, oli menestys, yksi katsoja mun lisäksi ja sekin oli tuttu kaveri. Ja tämä siis noin kolmensadan istuinpaikan salissa! Toki korona vaikuttaa, mutta enpä usko että leffa olisi hirveästi menestynyt täällä normiaikana. Tosin normiaikana sitä ei olisi edes välttämättä meikäläisen teatteriin tuotu, nimittäin noi rautapuolen mainitsemat Argentot on täällä jätetty näyttämättä.
Mutta eipä tarvinnut välittää kännykän näpyttelijöistä.
